Good News and Bad News !!!!

Well,I thought we would be in China now. We were to leave today, Sept. 15 but, the U.S. Consulate in China got backlogged and we are not traveling until Oct.5th to Oct. 19th. I was so disappointed when we found this out. To make matters worse the China trade fair is in Guangzhou at that time and a person does not want to travel when the trade fair is going on. Prices for travel double and it is hard to even get a hotel room. Well guess when we will be in Guangzhou ? Our luck doesn't ever seem to quit. We did get some updated information on Ali. She was left in a park with nothing. The police found her and took her to the Civil Affairs office. They then took her to the orphanage and the orphanage guessed her to be about 2 months old. How sad is that. She has been living with her foster parents for 14 months now, and has been sleeping with them every night. That is where the toddler bed came into play in our room. I don't know if Abby our dog is willing to give up her spot in our bed or not. We will see how the toddler bed works and go from there. I know it won't be easy. I am going to have to re-think my packing now. The province that Ali is from is cold. It is in the mountains. I was all packed but, I unloaded the suitcases the other day and put our good underwear back in our drawers for a while. I need to add some warmer clothes to the packing . I will post our travel itinerary when we get it.
