WHAT A SURPRISE !

We all got up early this morning and headed off to the Beijing Airport. We met Marian our CCAI rep at the airport. That is when we got the great news. We were getting the babies today instead of tomorrow. Wow, we all couldn't believe it. We got to our rooms at 3:oo O'clock and at 3:30 the babies were there. The babies were taken to Marian's room and we all went their. I have waited over a year for this day and words can't describe the feeling when you walk into a room and there she was setting on the bed. I reached down and picked her up she cried for about 10 seconds and she has been a baby doll ever since. The other babies were crying so hard. It sure breaks your heart when you see these little one's go to complete strangers that look so different. We only had a few minutes then it was on a bus to get our family pictures taked for some document. When we got back, it was bath time. She was pretty dirty and it was driving me nuts. She loved her bath and her a Robin played for quite a while. She had layers and layers of clothes on, and she didn't want them off. She had a diaper on when we got her but, they say she is potty trained. I took her diaper off and she went on the pot for me. She seems to love daddy and if I could get daddy to quit calling me Mamaw I will be O.K. We have a lot of paper work to do tomorrow so it will be another long day. I can't tell you just how cute she is. Her hair is starting to grow and she even (so far) leaves her head band on. She is a little bigger then I thought and the 18months clothes are going back to the store. It is now 9:00 o'clock and we just ordered room service. We haven't ate since breakfast this morning at 6. This was truly an amazing day today and I will tell you more about Ali tomorrow.
Good Night from Urumqi, China
